"First experience at Gorruds"

I was pleased with my first preventaive maintenance service with Gorrud's. I checked the vehicle after the service and found that they had completed everything that I could determine would be done. As an example; all exterior hinges had been properly lubricated with the correct lubricant (even the gas filler door, hood and rear hatch). Tire pressures were exactly set to the vehicle placard specification.

You would be surprised at the many times I found tire pressures grossly incorrect after specifically requesting to have the tire pressures checked during regular servicing at other establishments.

As I said, I am pleased with this first experience at Gorrud's and I will return for my next regular service.

In terms of question # 11, I will be returning for regular maintenance when I can. I do live about an hour away so it will depend on timing issues between myself and the service department.

Overall, my experience was a very positive one with great service from both Tony and Mary-Lynn. We are bringing the vehicle into service today as there is a strange knocking grinding noise from the front driver's side which is a little concerning. However, if my experience so far is any indication of the service I can expect I am sure the service department will get done what needs to be done in a very efficient and timely manner.

Larry, most of the questions I answered Not Applicable due to the fact I had an oil change - no repairs were done. In the past I have had my Echo serviced at Milton Toyota, this was my 1st oil change at Gorrud's since Toyota moved down the street. I would consider having my vehicle repaired at Gorrud's if Toyota parts are available at Gorrud's should I need something in the future - you can let me know. I have to tell you Mallory is a wonderful Service Advisor, she took the time to come over, got my keys & then came back with my bill once the oil change was done - she is always very courteous to me & I think she does a wonderful job!!
